Movin' Higher!

Urea and UAN28 prices continued to climb higher the fifth week of June 2011, according to retail fertilizer prices tracked by DTN. And for the first time, anhydrous joined these other nitrogen fertilizers in their trek to higher prices.

Urea led the way higher, up 12% from the fourth week of May, while UAN28 climbed 9% higher and anhydrous jumped 5%. Urea had an average price of $568/ton while UAN28 was priced at $410/ton and anhydrous $780/ton.

Three other fertilizers were slightly higher compared to a month earlier. DAP had an average price of $686/ton, potash $618/ton and UAN32 $443/ton.
