This graph depicts how Nitrogen use has stayed pretty flat over the past 35 years, while corn production has nearly doubled per pound of Nitrogen basis. Click on the graph for a bigger view.
Our Reply: We think this will continue with the likes of variable rate application, nutrient management, and new technology that doesn't exist yet!
